Following several resignations after the Project Maven fiasco, and Google’s subsequent publication of it's 'AI Principles', Google has now launched a global advisory council.
The Advanced Technology External Advisory Council (ATEAC for short) will meet quarterly and give recommendations on emerging and controversial technologies.
Rumours are already abound that members of ATEAC have had to sign NDAs, with critics decrying the move as an example of #EthicsWashing.
